Arnicin

Arnicin is an organic compound found in the flowers and rhizome of the arnica (Arnica montana L.), a plant of the Asteraceae botanical family.
Arnicin, from the chemical point of view, is a glycoside with a brute or molecular formula: C12 H22O2.

Arnicin is a glycoside of bitter taste similar, like action, to camphor.
This compound is poisonous if ingested and is irritating and similar to strychnine.
