Baeocystin

Baeocystin, whose term in the IUPAC nomenclature is: 3- [2- (methylammonium) ethyl] -1H-indole-4-yl hydrogen phosphate, is a triptammine with molecular brute formula C11H15N2O4P.
Baeocystin is a psychedelic triptammine.
This substance has a chemical structure related to that of psilocybin and even more markedly than norbaeocystin, and with almost identical effects and doses.
Baeocystin is a naturally occurring psychedelic tryptamine found in some mushrooms. Among these, it is present in concentrations ranging from 0.1% to 0.36% and in sufficient doses in the Psilocybe baeocystis species (Psilocybe baeocystis Singer & AHSmith 1958). It is a fungus that contains hallucinogenic compounds such as psilocybin, psilocin and, in fact, baeocystin.
Baeocystin is also present in some strains of Basidiomycetes in addition to the genus Psilocybe, also in: Stropharia, Conocybe, Copelandia and Panaeolus.
These are mushrooms whose ingestion results in various hallucinogenic manifestations.
