Eco-sustainability

Eco-sustainability, or environmental sustainability, is a principle that refers to the ability to meet current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, maintaining a balance between economic development, social well-being and environmental protection.
In practice, eco-sustainability is based on three main pillars:
Environmental protection: Minimizing the environmental impact of human activities through the use of renewable resources, waste reduction, conservation of natural ecosystems and the fight against climate change.
Economic sustainability: Promoting economic models that are able to grow in the long term without depleting natural resources or irreversibly damaging the environment.
Social sustainability: Ensuring that communities are treated fairly and that everyone has access to resources and opportunities, with particular attention to the well-being of people and communities.
The ultimate goal of eco-sustainability is to create a system in which human activities are harmoniously integrated with the natural environment, in such a way as to preserve the planet for future generations.
