How to prepare peach ice cream
In the summer, nature offers us the possibility of transforming many types of fruit to prepare excellent ice creams.
Among these, peach ice cream is one of the tastiest.
Here is a simple recipe for making peach ice cream:
Ingredients:
4 organic ripe peaches
200 ml of fresh cream
200 ml of whole milk
150 g of sugar
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Start by peeling and dicing ripe peaches. Make sure you remove the pit.
Put the peach pieces in the blender or mixer together with the sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Blend everything until you get a smooth and homogeneous consistency.
Add the fresh cream and milk to the peach mixture in the blender. Blend again to mix all the ingredients well.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and proceed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Usually, it will take about 20-30 minutes to get a creamy texture.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow container and place it in the freezer. Stir the ice cream vigorously every 30 minutes to prevent ice crystals from forming. Keep stirring every 30 minutes for a couple of hours, until the ice cream reaches the desired consistency.
Once the peach ice cream has reached the desired consistency, transfer it to a sealed container and place it in the freezer for a few hours to further solidify.
Before serving, leave the peach ice cream out of the freezer for a few minutes to make it softer and easier to enjoy.
