Agenda 2030

Agenda 2030

2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is the action program for people, the planet and prosperity, signed in September 2015 by 193 governments of member countries of the UN. In Agenda 2030 there are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) contained perhaps in the largest ever action program, for a total of 169 ‘targets’ or targets. The official launch of the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals started in 2016. Agenda 2030 is the vademecum of the path that the entire planet will have to travel in the next 15 years; all the subscribing countries have committed themselves, in fact, to achieve it by 2030. They are common objectives on a set of issues important for development: the fight against poverty, the elimination of hunger or the fight against climate change, to cite perhaps those most important. There are 169 goals for the 17 goals. Each objective consists of 1 to 3 indicators used to measure progress towards the achievement of the objectives, for a total of 304 indicators that will measure the compliance of the process.

In summary we see the 17 goals or, better, Goals:
Objective 1: No Poverty
Objective 2: Zero hunger
Objective 3: Good health and wellbeing for people
Objective 4: Quality education
Objective 5: Gender equality
Objective 6: Clean water and sanitation
Objective 7: Accessible and clean energy
Objective 8: Decent work and economic growth
Objective 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Objective 10: Reduce inequality
Objective 11: Sustainable cities and communities
Objective 12: Responsible consumption and production
Objective 13: Climate Action
Objective 14: Life Below Water
Objective 15: Life on Land
Objective 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions
Objective 17: Partnership for the objectives
In fact there is everything, but at the base it takes a great change of paradigm of our civilization towards a new form of democracy and equity and representation capacity in it of every single inhabitant of this blue planet.
